This unforgettable horseback adventure takes you deep into one of Europe’s best-kept secrets, where every day reveals a new landscape and a new story. Ride beneath the soaring peaks of the Julian Alps, canter across emerald meadows, weave through the ancient forests of Triglav National Park, follow centuries-old trails through rolling vineyards and Mediterranean villages, and experience the legendary birthplace of the world-famous Lipizzaner horses.
Horseback riding in Slovenia is unlike anywhere else in Europe. In just a few days, you’ll journey through an extraordinary variety of landscapes—from alpine mountains and crystal-clear rivers to lush forests, karst plateaus, and sun-drenched coastal countryside. Day 1: Arrival to Bled – Slovenia's Alpine Jewel
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed to the magical region of Lake Bled, one of Europe's most picturesque destinations.
After settling into your accommodation, enjoy a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride around the lake and admire the stunning alpine scenery. Following lunch and a taste of the famous Bled Cream Cake, your first riding experience begins.
Spend approximately two hours exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding Bled, riding through forests, meadows, and traditional villages while becoming acquainted with your horse and fellow riders.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Slovenian dinner in the medieval town of Radovljica and discover the rich heritage of Slovenian beekeeping and gingerbread craftsmanship.

Day 2: Riding & Legends of Lake Bled
After breakfast, embark on another memorable horseback 2 hours ride through the enchanting Bled region.
In the afternoon, discover the legendary beauty of Lake Bled. Visit Bled Castle, dramatically perched above the lake, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and emerald waters below.
Enjoy dinner overlooking the Alpine landscape.
Overnight in Bled or Pokljuka region.
Day 3: Ride into the Heart of Triglav National Park
Following breakfast and 3 hour ride in and around the Bled area, we will board a traditional Pletna boat and visit the famous island church located in the middle of the lake. According to local tradition, ringing the wishing bell brings good fortune.
The, you continue your journey through the stunning landscapes of Lake Bohinj and deeper into Triglav National Park. The pristine forests, mountain meadows, and fresh alpine air create one of the most spectacular natural environments in Europe.
Enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

Day 4: Mediterranean Riding Trails
After breakfast the guests seeking a unique cultural experience may join an optional foraging excursion with Dr. Fungi, exploring medicinal herbs, wild mushrooms, and traditional forest wisdom (additional fee).
In your riding today you'll love how the landscape begins to change as we travel south toward Slovenia's Mediterranean region.
This lesser-known part of the country offers rolling hills, vineyards, ancient villages, forests, and spectacular panoramic views. We will enjoy a beautiful time in the saddle exploring a diverse network of riding trails carefully selected according to weather conditions and local opportunities.

Day 5: Mediterranean Adventure & Lipica
Enjoy another exceptional day of riding through Slovenia's Mediterranean countryside. You'll ride across scenic landscapes shaped by centuries of history, local traditions, and equestrian culture.
In the afternoon, continue to Lipica, the birthplace of the world-renowned Lipizzaner horse.
Settle into the elegant Hotel Maestoso located within the historic Lipica estate.
Dinner and overnight in Lipica.
Day 6: The World of the Lipizzaner!
Today is dedicated to one of Europe's most celebrated equestrian traditions. Discover the fascinating history of the Lipica Stud Farm and learn how the noble Lipizzaner horse became one of the world's most respected breeds.
Witness their elegance, intelligence, and beauty while exploring the historic grounds.
For guests wishing to enjoy additional experiences, optional activities such as riding Lipizzaner horses, wine tasting, or Adriatic excursions can be arranged (additional fee).
In the afternoon, continue towards Slovenia's vibrant capital city.
Overnight in Ljubljana.
Day 7: Karst Wonders, Ljubljana Marshes & Farewell Celebration
Today is a touring day - and a super one with some amazing highlights!
After breakfast, visit the spectacular Postojna Cave, one of the world's most impressive underground cave systems.
Continue to the dramatic Predjama Castle, built directly into a towering cliff face and surrounded by centuries of legends.
Later, explore the natural beauty of the Ljubljana Marshes and the picturesque Iški Vintgar Gorge, a hidden gem loved by locals and nature enthusiasts.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating the remarkable journey from the Alps to the Adriatic in this diverse and very special country.

Day 8: Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and some free time to explore Ljubljana's charming Old Town, riverside cafés, and vibrant markets.
Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Ljubljana Airport or continue your travels through Slovenia and the Adriatic region.
Your hosts bid you farewell and gratefully send you onward with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and the spirit of Slovenia carried home with you.
