Day 1: Arrival
Touch down at Heathrow and your English country adventure is officially underway. We’ll whisk you away to the beautiful Cotswolds, where rolling hills, stone villages, and horse country await.
Settle in, enjoy a delicious country lunch, and then it’s time to get your competitive spirit switched on with an afternoon of sporting clays. Think fresh country air, a little friendly rivalry, and plenty of laughs — the perfect introduction to the sporting traditions of the English countryside.
Then trade the shooting range for a cozy Cotswold pub, where a hearty dinner and a well-earned drink await. It’s your first taste of English country life — and we’re only getting started!
Day 2: Full Day Ride
Today is all about what you came for: horses, beautiful countryside, and a whole lot of riding.
Swing into the saddle and set off into the glorious Cotswold countryside, where every mile brings something new — rolling green hills, ancient lanes, quiet woodland, open fields, stone villages, and sweeping views that seem to stretch forever. This is the kind of riding where you can settle into the rhythm of your horse and simply ride, explore, and soak it all in.
There’s time for long stretches in the saddle, a little adventure along the way, and plenty of those magical moments when you look around and think, Is this really England?
With miles to explore and a wonderful horse beneath you, this is English country riding at its dreamy best — an entire day to leave the real world behind and disappear into the Cotswolds before enjoying a savory traditional pub dinner.
Day 3: Side Saddle Experience and Free Afternoon
Step into another era and experience the timeless elegance of side-saddle riding.
With the beautiful Cotswold countryside as your backdrop, settle into the saddle and discover a riding tradition steeped in British history. There’s something wonderfully magical about the experience — the graceful posture, the beautifully turned-out horse, and the feeling of being transported to another time.
Take in the rolling hills, ancient hedgerows, and storybook landscapes from a completely different perspective as you discover the art and tradition of riding side-saddle. Elegant, enchanting, and just a little bit daring, it’s a uniquely English experience you’ll remember long after you’ve left the Cotswolds.
Three keepsake photos are part of this fun experience as well!
After lunch, the afternoon is yours to relax, shop, enjoy a local spa - whatever best suits you.
Day 4: Second Full Day Ride
The other day was just the introduction. Today, we ride!
After breakfast, climb back into the saddle and head out for another glorious day exploring the Cotswolds on horseback. The scenery keeps unfolding as you wind your way along country lanes, across open fields, through quiet woodlands, and past picture-perfect villages that look as though they’ve been frozen in time.
There’s something wonderfully addictive about English country riding — the steady rhythm of your horse, the changing landscape, the camaraderie of the group, and the feeling that around every bend there’s another postcard-worthy view waiting for you.
Settle into the saddle, stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh country air, and let the miles roll by. This is the Cotswolds from the best possible vantage point: between your horse’s ears.
You'll have time to clean up before enjoying another fun pub dinner.
Day 5: Introduction to Polo and Departure
Before we say goodbye to the Cotswolds, there’s time for one last quintessentially English adventure: polo!
Head to the field for a hands-on introduction to this fast-paced, exhilarating sport. Learn the basics, get comfortable with the mallet, and discover what it takes to play the game on horseback. With horses beneath you and a little competitive spirit in the air, it’s the perfect way to finish your riding adventure.
Then, it’s time to slow the pace and do things properly — with a beautiful English afternoon tea. Settle in for delicate sandwiches, tempting cakes, warm scones, and plenty of tea while you relive the highlights of an unforgettable week.
Afterward, reluctantly, it’s time to depart. Horses ridden, new traditions discovered, and a little piece of English horse country tucked away in your heart.
