Ride Overview

For all of you who can’t spare a full week, this is a superlative option that we are thrilled to offer! AND (drumroll) it features western tack! The days of riding are perfect for all levels of rider and the location is truly excellent as it smacks of all that you love about Tuscany – the rolling hills, the views, the vast landscape and yet, it’s located close to a charming seaside village in southern Tuscany.

The fit and extremely well trained horses and the glorious scenery of one of the most scenic and unspoiled valleys of Maremma will offer an authentic ranch experience perfect for any rider! This luxurious and relaxing farm stay in fully furnished, complete with a swimming pool for afternoon relaxing. It is the tonic you’ll need to refresh your soul and quiet your mind.

And because Italy is so well known for it’s leather goods, you’ll love the handcrafted and mostly “made in Italy” high quality tack – it sports comfort for both you and the horses. Each saddle is custom made, combining the ancient art of leathercraft with the passion and the innovation of a modern Italian-Style technique.

Summer in Tuscany can often be quite hot, with temperatures ranging from 91°F to 104°F (33–40°C). Because of this, the program runs as follows: riding is limited to two-hour sessions, either in the morning or late afternoon (9:00–11:00 AM and 5:00–7:00 PM), and both horses and team members rest completely between noon and 4:00 PM. That said, summer remains a magical time here. With the close proximity to Tuscany’s wild beaches, the islands of Elba and Giglio, exceptional gastronomy, and rich cultural life. This season attracts a vibrant mix of guests—many of whom are often non riders, so the rooms are often in high demand.

All of the meals are a true culinary delight, made fresh from local ingredients and are wonderfully paired with Italian wines. And we LOVE the fact that your stay includes several fun excursions, including a day at the beach and a fabulous winery tour.
