Ride Overview

We have long been looking for an excellent WE program and are so thrilled to have found one that ticks all of the boxes to offer you an exceptional week! It’s outside of Lisbon, so easy for travel, offers incredibly agile and willing steeds and superior instruction – so whether you are currently competing or just want to see what it’s all about – this program will be tailored to suit you perfectly!

And the total jewel in the crown – you are training with two time Working Equitation World Champion, Gilberto Filipe!

It includes 6 nights accommodation in your choice of either a 3 or 4 star hotel, continental breakfast daily, private transfers to and from Lisbon airport, all private transfers to and from lessons and activities, 5 days training with the Working Equitation World Champion at his training centre in Portugal to include two lessons a day (including lessons over the obstacle course onsite) and the opportunity to audit training sessions between he and his team in daily training.

Day 1: Arrival

Transfer at pre set time from Lisbon airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Start of your WE Program

Wake up for your continental breakfast at your hotel before being picked up and taken to the riding centre
of the current World Champion. (7 minutes drive from the hotel).

Arrive and meet the team, and the large range of well trained Lusitanos in training onsite. Here you will get to ride some of the best working equitation horses in the world, and have two lessons each day while also watching the team and the champion in their daily training.

After your day riding and learning you will be picked up and taken back to the hotel.

Day 3-6: Training onsite

Days of training onsite as on Day 1.

Day 7: Final Day of Training

At the conclusion of the 5th day of lessons you will be picked up and transported to the hotel to change and shower before transfer to the airport for your flight.

Alternatively you can stay on in Portugal for 5 days of cultural/food/wine or classical training tours. Please ask us for more details!
