Ride Overview
This legendary ranch is truly an Arizona institution. For the last 54 years it’s been run by the same family – that goes back three generations! And it’s easy to see why as the authenticity and quality of ride and service at the ranch is legendary in the industry.
The ranch sits on 3,000 acres and was literally built around the horse. Out riding, cattle work, exploring the surrounding mountains – there is ample area to keep you busy during your stay. And it’s a brilliant place for families, especially those that want to get away, but with members that may not ride “as much”. The ranch sports 43 rooms and has non riding activities such as certified rock climbing opportunities from 5.3 to 5.12 in difficulty, fat tire bike riding in the desert, hiking, archery, shooting, tennis and just relaxing by the pool or campfire. There is also a weekly ranch rodeo and nightly entertainment.

Got to stay at the ranch this past February (2021). Had a great time at the ranch. Enjoyed the desert riding. Food was great and met a lot of good horse people. Would definitely go back.

I had a wonderful time- the riding and horses were tops- the ranch, room and food were excellent- the people were kind and courteous- the weather (Nov. 2023) could not have been better- met a lot of nice women from all parts of the country- and two from England- would go back in a heartbeat!

I really do not know where to begin to describe one of the best trips of my riding life thanks to Active Riding and the helpful guidance of Stacey Adams. The trip was geared to exactly what we were looking for in terms of time, location, experience and interest.
Stacey met with us several times to get to know exactly what we were looking for and couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot. White Stallion ranch was geared toward everyone’s ability. If you wanted a fast ride, you took a test, otherwise there were rides for every individual’s ability.
The food, the accommodations and the customer service were top notch. People from all over the world came and we made so many friendships. The one thing I noticed was there were so many frequent fliers who come year after year. That in itself says so much about the ranch.
If I may make a suggestion, plan on a trip to White Stallion and book it with Stacey at Active Riding. You won’t regret it!
