Ride Overview

Nestled in the rolling hills of hunt country in Millbrook, NY, Fox Run Farm offers riders of all ages and abilities the chance to “have it all”. With over 133 acres, the farm has large indoor and outdoor arenas as well as a small field of natural obstacles. And for riders that want to get out of the arena, there are miles of wide open groomed trails for hacking. Owned and operated by Lynn Reed, the farm is a true gem, and riders will stay onsite in a well appointed guest room in the 1798 farmhouse. Daily instruction is tailored to meet the goals of the rider and offered by both Lynn and her associate, Tammy Geiger. A few days with Lynn or Tammy find most riders happy, tired and with clear breakthroughs in their progress.

Lynn and Tammy are both professional members with colors of the Millbrook Hunt and when they and their regular clientele are not attending USEF horse shows, they are often seen using their skills and training to ride behind the hounds on a fun hunt. At present, all of Lynn and Tammy’s students, both young riders and adults, participate in A rated shows from NY to FL in hunter, jumper and equitation classes.
