Located on the Mediterranean coast and down into the Sahara Desert, this undiscovered jewl is a unique and fascinating place to ride. Archaeology and architecture abound with influence from Roman and Arab-Islamic cultures. All of the great empires of the Mediterranean basin have ruled Tunisia, leaving fascinating, and in many cases, stunningly beautiful vestiges that continue to captivate and astound visitors today.

This is a diverse ride that takes you from the mountains to valleys and across the vast desert. After crossing the mighty Atlas mountains and their inhospitable looking landscape you venture into the valleys and the fringe of the Sahara. Welcoming oasis’ beckon you to come and rest on the shady date palm trees.

The Sahara is an unending mixture of sand dunes and what seems like emptiness that extends to the end of the earth. Never could you imagine the beauty in such a landscape with its shimmering salt lakes, wild herds of camels and the nomadic Berber people that still live and keep their flocks in the desert.
