Active Travel, Inc. is proud to be offering accommodation packages to the Equestrian Events at the 2012 Olympics in London.
We have worked hard to create packages for the true equine enthusiast and our staff members have made visits to London to inspect the hotels, the progress on the venues and the other activities in the area to provide you with the best packages for dressage, jumping and the three day eventing competition.
Our Olympic packages showcased here offer Hotel accommodations close to public transportation routes to the venues and all local taxes.
All of the equestrian events at the 2012 Olympics will be held in Greenwich Park, London’s oldest Royal Park and which contains the Royal Observatory and is additionally the home of Greenwich Mean Time at Longitude 0°.
It is located on the South Bank of the River Thames in South East London. The equestrian venue can easily be reached by train and by light rail.
A new temporary cross country course will be designed in Greenwich Park for the equestrian events. The course will be set up in 2012 and taken down after the games. The arena for Dressage and Jumping will seat 23,000.
